Pastor Cynthia E. Bolden, affectionately known to Evangelistic Ministries Church as Lady C., is a mentor, motivational speaker, accomplished recording artist, and pioneer in ministry. Most recognized for her role as Co-Pastor of Evangelistic Ministries Church, her influence reaches far beyond the church walls, touching lives around the world. At home, she is the loving wife of Bishop James E. Bolden III and the proud mother of four sons and grandmother of five.
A native of Tyler, Texas, Dr. Bolden’s journey has been marked by dedication to education and ministry. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Penn State University in Harrisburg, PA. She later completed mentoring certification from the Marilyn Hickey Mentoring Clinic in Denver, Colorado, and was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Theology from Christ the Lamb Theological Seminary in Durban, South Africa. She also holds an earned Doctorate from Midwest College of Theology, where she now serves as Vice President and senior instructor at the Jacksonville, Arkansas campus.
Dr. Bolden’s passion for empowering others is evident in her community and ministry work. She has served with the Arkansas Commission on severe maltreatment cases and as a Civil Service Commissioner for the City of Jacksonville. She is the founder of several outreach and training initiatives, including Lil Motivators Academy, D.I.V.A.S. (Disciplined, Intellectual, Victorious, Anointed Sisters) for Christ, and H.O.P.E. (Helping Out People Everywhere) Community Development Corporation, all aimed at equipping individuals to reach their full potential in Christ.
